Theoretical transferability
WebbThe sample was defined using the criteria of theoretical saturation. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview and analyzed using the Van Manen method. Six scientific rigor criteria were used: credibility, transferability, consistency, confirmability, relevance, and theoretical and epistemological adequacy. WebbFurthermore, transferability needs to be finally determined after an evaluation in the target context. In this article, we elaborate on theoretical and practical implications of the concept of transferability for health promotion and disease prevention based on the Population-Intervention-Environment-Transfer Models of Transferability (PIET-T).
