WebbNo sugar added as far as I can tell but light and delicious notes all around. Picked up for $35 CAD. I also recently liked Santa Teresa 1796 but much pricier at $65. Still under your budget. Finally, the Real McCoy 12 or Plantation XO are both tasty enough but around $75. I believe plantation has added sugar though I don't find it overwhelming. While this rum would certainly work in a cocktail like a classic daiquiri, it’s flavorful and complex enough to enjoy on its own, not something that can be said about every white rum.
